What is the Difference Between Everyday Price and Member Price?
Understanding Mathis Pricing
Mathis pricing is structured to provide consistent, transparent furniture pricing. This page explains the difference between Everyday Pricing for non-members and exclusive Member Pricing for Mathis Rewards Members, and how the Mathis Pricing Model works.
The Mathis Pricing Model
Understanding Everyday Pricing and Member Pricing
Mathis uses a tiered pricing approach designed to provide clarity and consistency.
We do this by separating pricing into two simple parts:
1. Everyday Price (Non-Member Price)
Everyday Pricing offers stable, transparent pricing available year-round, without requiring customers to wait for special promotions or sales events.
2. Member Price (Mathis Rewards Price)
Member Pricing is available to customers who participate in the Mathis Rewards Program. In addition to lower prices on many items, members may receive exclusive offers, early access to select promotions, and additional rewards benefits.
In short, Everyday Pricing focuses on consistent, year-round industry low pricing, while Member Pricing offers additional savings and benefits for customers who choose to participate in the Mathis Rewards Program.
A Pricing Model Built on History, Not Hype
The Idea Started in 1960
In 1960, brothers Don and Bud Mathis opened Mathis Brothers Furniture with a straightforward philosophy:
Give customers the lowest price without making them wait for a sale.
That approach helped shape Mathis into one of the largest independent furniture retailers in America.
Today, Mathis remains a family-owned business, with multiple generations continuing to evolve how customers shop for furniture while staying rooted in the same pricing principles.
This isn’t a temporary promotion.
It’s a long-standing pricing philosophy.
Everyday Low Pricing — Then and Now
Mathis Continues to Deliver Consistent Value for Every Customer
From the beginning, Mathis has been committed to providing:
• A wide selection of quality home furnishings
• Competitive Everyday Pricing
• Clear and straightforward pricing structures
Everyday Pricing and Member Pricing are modern extensions of this long-standing commitment.
Why the Mathis Rewards Program Exists
Supporting a Transparent Pricing Structure
The Mathis Rewards Program provides customers with access to additional pricing advantages and exclusive benefits beyond everyday pricing.
By participating in the program, members may receive lower prices on many items, including discounted delivery, member-only offers, early access to select promotions, extra points earning days, and enhanced rewards opportunities. Members also have multiple ways to earn points, which lead to more Member discounts! As a member’s level of Membership increases, so do the benefits!
Members earn 2 points per dollar spent on eligible merchandise. Points earned may be used as a form of payment for future eligible purchases. 100 points = $1 discount. For example, spend $1000 on merchandise, earn 2000 points, and receive a $20 discount upon redemption. (Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Points cannot be used to purchase gift cards or third-party services. Additional exclusions may apply. See Terms & Conditions for more details.)
This allows customers to save in a predictable way that best fits their shopping needs.
