Wash your Organic Waterproof Mattress Protector prior to use with an eco-conscious laundry detergent. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or hang on the line until completely dry. Do not iron. It may take up to three washes to reach proper size, as it is intentionally oversized to account for natural cotton shrinkage (approximately 8% after the first wash).
