All Beautyrest Black mattresses — both quilted and hybrid — are backed by a 10-year non-prorated limited warranty.
What the Limited Warranty Covers
This warranty covers manufacturing defects including:

Sagging or body impressions that meet the depth requirements (see below)

Flaws in the foam, such as splitting or cracking
-
Cover defects, such as unraveled stitching
-
Issues occurring when the mattress has been properly supported by:
-
A foundation or foundation system (including power bases, platform units, or slat systems with at least 5 slats measuring 1" x 4" each, plus center support)

Note: Improper support can cause sagging and will void the warranty.
What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not apply to:

“As-is” bedding
-
Mattresses missing law tags

Bed height preference
-
Any non-defective pieces in a mattress set

Damage caused by misuse or abuse (including stains, rips, tears, burns)

Damage caused by improper support

Sheet fit issues

Normal changes in softness and recovery time due to regular use*

Zippered mattress covers damaged by improper care

Mattress handles
-
Soiling (any soiling will void the warranty)

Normal Wear vs. Defect
*A body impression is considered normal wear and not a defect. Over time, comfort layers will naturally conform to your body shape — similar to how furniture and shoes mold to their user with regular use.
Measurement Standards for Warranty Claims
To qualify as a defect:

Quilted mattresses: Impression must measure 1.5 inches or more

Smooth-top / Hybrid mattresses: Impression must measure ¾ inch or more
Measurements should be taken excluding quilted dips or tufting.
